DAY 1 ARRIVAL: Transfer to Ubud — Tanah Gajah Resort / WELCOME AND ORIENTATION

Arrive in Bali and transfer into the heart of Ubud, long considered the island’s spiritual and artistic center. As you enter Ubud, notice the subtle shift in topography — lush jungle, temple offerings, and the scent of flowers in the air. Upon arrival at your sanctuary, the Tanah Gajah, 5-star Resort by Hadiprana, settle into spacious suites overlooking rice paddies and ancient stone carvings. DAY 2 ubud: GROUP SESSION / Goa Gajah, Ancient Tombs of Gunung Kawi and Environs

Our day begins with a dynamic, interactive presentation and discussion led by Will on the sacred underpinnings of Balinese culture — inviting a sense of presence and openness for the sacred encounters ahead. We then make our way to Goa Gajah, known as the “Elephant Cave,” a site of meditation caves and deep spiritual symbolism dating back to the 9th century. Enter through the carved mouth of the cave—representing the threshold between the outer world and the inner self. Then it’s off to explore the sacred complex of Gunung Kawi, one of Bali’s oldest and most mystical sites. Descend through stone stairways into a lush river valley where towering 11th-century shrines carved into the cliffs honor Bali’s ancestral lineage.

DAY 3 Ubud: GROUP SESSION / Jatiluwih Rice Terraces, Mt. Batukaru and Environs

Today, after a moving and insightful morning presentation and discussion involving the theme of harmony expressed through the Balinese spiritual philosophy: Tri Hita Karana (the three sources of wellbeing), we journey into the UNESCO-listed Jatiluwih Rice Terraces—a breathtaking landscape shaped by the ancient Subak irrigation system, a living expression of cooperation and communal harmony. Here, harmony is not abstract. It is engineered, cultivated, lived, and breathed. We then continue to the remote forest temple Pura Luhur Batukaru, one of Bali’s most sacred mountain sanctuaries, where mist, stone, and silence create a rare atmosphere of stillness and reflection.

DAY 4 ubud: Ayung River Rafting Adventure

After breakfast, we set out for an exclusive river rafting adventure where we experience the energy and flow of the Ayung River, surrounded by jungle, waterfalls, and carved stone reliefs. Here, we’ll marvel at the natural beauty of the sacred river gorge and gain insights into Bali's deep spiritual heritage along the way. Opportunities for lunch are available along the water’s edge. The rest of the afternoon is free to enjoy the many amenities at the Tanah Gajah resort or to explore the vibrant streets, artisan shops, and cafés of Ubud town at your leisure.

Day 5 ubud: GROUP SESSION / Upcountry Bali: Rice fields and waterfalls

The morning begins with a heart-opening group session—an opportunity to deepen connection within ourselves, with each other and with the natural world. Then we journey into the quiet highlands of Bangli Regency, a region where life unfolds at a gentler pace and long-held traditions remain beautifully intact. Moving through verdant rice fields alongside local farmers, we’ll gain an intimate glimpse into the rhythms of daily life—simple, purposeful, and deeply connected to the land. Our path continues into a lush river gorge, where the air cools and the sounds of flowing water guide us toward a secluded waterfall. Here, surrounded by nature, there is space for awe, reflection, and renewal. Along the way, we’ll be welcomed into the fabric of village life and encounter the vibrant energy of Galungan, a sacred 10-day celebration honoring the victory of light over darkness. Decorated bamboo poles (penjors) line the streets, offerings are made, and the island comes alive with ceremony—offering a rare and meaningful window into Bali’s living spiritual traditions.

DAY 6 Welcome to lombok: Oberoi Beach Resort, Lombok, Tanjung

This morning, we transfer to Padang Bai on Bali’s eastern shore to catch our premium speedboat transfer to Lombok—a quieter, less-developed island known for its unspoiled beaches and deeply rooted cultural traditions. After arriving in Lombok, you’ll be transferred to the secluded, oceanfront luxury 5-star Oberoi Beach Resort, set along Medana Bay just a short boat ride from the Gili Islands. Here, your ocean view luxury pavilion, set in lush tropical gardens, opens towards the sea, sky, and beautiful views. Day 7 Tanjung: Gili Islands Snorkel Adventure

After a sumptuous breakfast and a leisurely morning enjoying the serene grounds of The Oberoi Beach Resort—whether strolling along the pristine beach, enjoying the pool, or simply soaking in the stillness—a private boat awaits to carry us across the luminous turquoise waters that surround the idyllic Gili Islands. Guided by an expert dive specialist, we’ll be introduced to some of the region’s most remarkable underwater snorkeling sanctuaries. As you float effortlessly, there is a quiet invitation to let go – to soften and embrace the beauty of this underwater world. For scuba enthusiasts, optional world-class scuba diving experiences are available at an additional cost, offering access to even more extraordinary marine environments beneath the surface.

Day 8 Tanjung: GROUP SESSION / Afternoon free to explore and enjoy, Sunset Cruise

After a moving morning discussion and group connection session, the afternoon unfolds at your own pace within the lush grounds of The Oberoi Beach Resort. You may choose to relax along the private beach or jetty, or take advantage of the resort’s curated offerings—snorkeling in clear coastal waters, gliding across the sea by kayak or stand-up paddleboard, or cycling through the surrounding landscape for a glimpse of local life. For those seeking deeper exploration, the resort’s onsite PADI dive center offers the opportunity to arrange world-class scuba diving experiences, as well as private excursions to the nearby Gili Islands. As the day transitions, we reconvene for a sunset cruise. Drifting across calm waters, you’ll take in sweeping views of Mount Agung—Bali’s most sacred volcano—rising in quiet majesty on the horizon. Day 9 WELCOME BACK TO BALI: TANAH GAJAH RESORT / FINAL EVENING CELEBRATION

Today begins gently, with a final sunrise over Lombok—soft light spilling across the sea, inviting a quiet moment of reflection on all that has unfolded. There is time to pause, to breathe, and to take in the stillness one last time before departure. Following breakfast, we transfer to the harbor for our premium speedboat transfer to Bali. As the island comes back into view, familiar yet subtly changed, so too is your experience of it—now shaped by the depth of the journey. This evening, we gather once more for our final celebration together. In an atmosphere of warmth and connection, we honor not only the places explored and experiences shared, but the inner shifts that have taken place along the way.
